Clara Abdullah [RO/MD] (1990), este originară din România, în 2018 a ales Chișinăul să-i fie oraș adoptiv. La moment, locuiește aici în rol de artist captiv în corpul unui ONG. A studiat jurnalismul, politicile de gen și alte lucruri despre care mama îi zicea că nu o să-i aducă un loc de muncă normal. Înainte să vină la Chișinău, a lucart la un centru de diminuare a efectelor nocive, în Lisabona, și la Institutul European pe Egalitate de Gen, în, Vilnius. De asemenea, a urmat un stagiu practic la Vice pe când era studentă, despre care prietenii îi spuneau că „este foarte potrivit”. Acum, este interesată de ecologie și activismul de comunitate. Bermet Borubaeva [KG] este cercetătoare, curatoare și artistă, născută în Bișkek, Kârgâstan. Constanța Dohotaru [MD], este arhitectă și urbanistă stabilită la Chișinău. Este activistă locală fiind implicată în diverse proiecte comunitare ce țin de spații public în Moldova, Europa de Est și Berlin. Chris Dreier [DE] (1961), is a graduate of Visual Communications from Berlin’s University of Art (UDK). In the nineteen eighties she was a member of avant-gard music group Die Tödliche Doris. She continues to be active in the in the experimental music scene with band projects Burqamachines (with Ursula Döbereiner) and MK/DT (with Tim Löhde). Since 2015, Dreier has been working as a duo with Irish artist Gary Farrelly under the name Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence. Her visual artwork has been exhibited widely in Germany and beyond including institutional shows at The Museum of Contemporary Art (Wroclaw, Poland), New Mexico History Museum (Santa Fe), Botanique (Brussels), Centre d’art Contemporaine (Brest), Marres- House for Contemporary Culture (Maastricht) and the 500X (Dallas). Her work is represented by Laura Mars Gallery in Berlin and Grölle Pass Projects, Wuppertal.
Nicoleta Esinencu [MD], scriitoare, dramaturgă și regizoare. Lucrează și locuiește în Chișinău. Lucrările sale documentează viața socială și politică a societății moldovenești în particular, dar și a societății contemporane în general. Este co-fondatoare a colectivului de teatru politic, teatru-spălătorie. Împreună cu spălătorie a abordat subiecte ca Holocaustul în Moldova în timpul celui de-al doilea Război Mondial în spectacolul documentar Clear History (2012), condițiile de muncă și politicile explotative duse de Uniunea Europeană și organizațiile internaționale în Moldova în Recviem pentru Europa (2018), critica dintr-o perspectivă feministă a discursului patriarhal propagat în biblie care domină pînă azi societățile noastre în Evanghelia după Maria (2018), chestionarea instituției familiei și denunțarea instituțiilor care profită cel mai mult de pe urma ei: biserica, statul și întregul sistem capitalist în Abolirea Familiei (2019). She works and lives in Chișinău. Her works document the social and political life of Moldovan society in particular, but also of contemporary society in general. She is one of the co-founders of the political theater collective, teatru-spălătorie. Together with spălătorie, she works on issues like the Holocaust in Moldova during World War II in the documentary play Clear History (2012), working conditions and exploitation policies pursued by the European Union and international organizations in Moldova in Requiem for Europe (2018), the critique from a feminist perspective of the patriarchal discourse propagated by the bible that dominates to this day our societies in Gospel of Mary (2018), questioning the family institution and denouncing the institutions that benefit the most from it: the church, the state and the entire capitalist system in Abolition of the Family (2019). Her texts were published in Romania, France, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Austria, etc. She is fellow of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program 2019.
Gary Farrelly [IE] (1983), an Irish artist based in Belgium. He received his BA from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and his MFA from LUCA School of the Arts in Brussels. Since 2015, Farrelly has been working as a duo with German artist Chris Dreier under the name Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence. Farrelly was the subject of and main performer in Oisin Byrne’s 2017 feature length film GLUE which was screened extensively including at Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art in London and the Irish Museum of Modern Art. He is a recurring visiting lecturer at La Cambre art school in Brussels. Past residencies include: AIR Antwerpen, Gropiusstadt Pilotprojekt and the University of Texas in Dallas. His works have been performed and exhibited in a number of institutional contexts including: Salzburger Kunstverein, Marres- House for Contemporary Culture (Maastricht), CentralTrak Gallery (Dallas), Parking Projects (Tehran) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (Banja Luka).
Tatiana Fiodorova [MD] (1976), studied art at The “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University of Chisinau, graduated from 1999 to 2004. Moldavian artist, curator, and educator works with questions of social and political history, particularly in relation to the Post-Soviet transition. She was born and raised in Soviet Moldova but her formation as an artist happened in 2000s. Her artistic exploration focuses on the lost Soviet identity and formation of a new identity for a Moldovan woman facing social, political, and economic problems. She works with social practice, installation, live performance, public art, video and artists’ books, photography, drawing. Her curatorial focus involves research-based projects and relational practices. She is currently part of the curatorial team of Vessel for the Institute for the Imagination of the Mediterranean (Bari, Italy) and co-curator of CampoSud. A visionary Camp, a philosophical and artistic symposium around the legacy of Antonio Gramsci (First Edition, Cagliari 2017). Jörg Scheller [CH] (1979, Stuttgart) deține titlul de Doctor și este Profesor de Istoria Artelor la Universitatea de Arte din Zurich. Ovidiu Ţichindeleanu [RO], (n.1976) este filosof, traducător şi teoretician al culturii. Coordinator de colecţii, IDEA Design & Print, Editură (www.ideaeditura.ro); Editor, IDEA artă + societate (www.ideamagazine.ro). Scrie despre teorie critică socială, gîndire decolonială, filosofie interculturală, teorii istorice ale simţurilor şi percepţiei, istoria filosofiei, Europa de Est şi istoria culturală a postcomunismului. Doctor în filosofie, Binghamton University, State University of New York (2009). A studiat filosofia la Cluj-Napoca, Strasbourg şi Binghamton. Din 2012 predă la Şcoala de vară internaţională, The Decolonial Summer School at University College Roosevelt, Middelburg, Olanda. Din 2015 predă la Şcoala de vară internaţională de la Telciu. Vladimir Us [MD] (1980), artist și curator stabilit în Chișinău, Moldova, membru fondator al Asociației Tinerilor Artiști Oberliht. A studiat artă, curatoriat, management cultural și politici culturale la Chișinău, Grenoble și Belgrad. Prin lucrările și proiectele sale recente, Us explorează procesele de transformare a spațiului public în orașele post-sovietice, totodată fiind preocupat de nevoia de a conceptualiza o rețea alternativă de spații publice pentru Chișinău. /// Vladimir Us [MD] (1980), artist and curator based in Chisinau, Moldova, founding member of Oberliht Young Artists Association. He studied art, curating, cultural management and cultural policy in Chisinau, Grenoble and Belgrade. Through his recent works and projects he examines the processes of transformation of the public space in post-Soviet cities along with the need for conceptualizing an alternative network of public spaces in Chisinau.
Viktor Vejvoda [CZ] was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia. He studied at Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and graduated in 2015,studio of New Media. He lives and works in Prague. His main interest lies in the ecology of consumption, peripheral and forgotten knowledge, the questions of value and improvisation. Viktor sympathise with use of Open Source tools for production of self published works.
